Cookie Policy
Last updated: 1 July 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how FleetTrust OS uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit or use our platform. We keep things simple and privacy-first.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, smartphone, or tablet) when you visit a website or use a web application. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, remember your preferences, and provide information to the site operators.
In addition to traditional cookies, we may also use similar technologies such as web beacons, pixel tags, local storage, and session storage. Throughout this policy, we refer to all of these collectively as “cookies”.
Cookies can be “session” cookies (which expire when you close your browser) or “persistent” cookies (which remain on your device for a set period or until deleted). They can be set by us (“first-party cookies”) or by third-party services we use (“third-party cookies”).
2. How We Use Cookies
FleetTrust OS uses cookies to:
- Keep you securely logged in to your account between sessions
- Remember your interface preferences and settings
- Understand how the platform is being used so we can improve it
- Enable secure payment processing through our payment provider
- Protect against fraud and ensure platform security
We do not use cookies for targeted advertising or to track your browsing activity across other websites. Our cookie usage is minimal and purposeful.
3. Types of Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
These cookies are strictly necessary for the platform to function. They enable core features such as user authentication (keeping you logged in), session management, and security token validation. Without these cookies, the platform cannot operate. They cannot be disabled.
Examples: Authentication session token, CSRF protection token, user role and permissions cache.
Analytics Cookies
We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymised usage statistics about how operators interact with FleetTrust OS. This data helps us understand which features are most used, identify performance issues, and make data-driven improvements to the platform.
Data collected: Page views, navigation paths, time on page, browser type, and general geographic region (country level only). No personally identifiable information is collected by our analytics provider.
Provider: Vercel Analytics (privacy-first, no cross-site tracking, GDPR-compliant).
Preference Cookies
These cookies remember your UI settings and preferences so you do not have to reconfigure them every time you log in. They improve your experience by personalising the platform to your workflow.
Examples: Dashboard layout preferences, table column visibility, notification settings, selected date range filters, sidebar collapsed/expanded state.
Marketing Cookies
We do not use marketing or advertising cookies. FleetTrust OS does not serve advertisements, does not participate in ad networks, and does not track your activity across other websites for marketing purposes. We have no interest in profiling our users for commercial advertising.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Some features of FleetTrust OS rely on third-party services that may set their own cookies. These are governed by the respective third parties privacy policies.
Stripe (Payment Processing)
When you enter payment information or manage your subscription, Stripe sets cookies required to securely process transactions, prevent fraud, and remember payment method details. These are essential for billing functionality.
Google OAuth (Sign-In)
If you choose to sign in using your Google account, Google sets cookies as part of the OAuth 2.0 authentication flow. These cookies are used solely to verify your identity and are not used for advertising purposes on our platform.
5. Managing Your Cookies
You can control and manage cookies in several ways. Please note that removing or blocking essential cookies will impair the functionality of FleetTrust OS, and you may be unable to log in or use core features.
Browser Settings
Most browsers allow you to view, manage, delete, and block cookies. Here is how to access cookie settings in common browsers:
- Google Chrome:Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data
- Mozilla Firefox:Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Microsoft Edge:Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies
- Apple Safari:Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
For more information about managing cookies across browsers, visit allaboutcookies.org.
6. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the cookies we use, or applicable regulations. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via email or in-app notice.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the Service after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
